Science is all around us – in light, sound, forces, materials, plants, motion, and everyday discoveries. At Young Explorers HQ, we make these big ideas simple, exciting, and completely safe. Children learn by doing: testing predictions, building mini-experiments, exploring nature, and discovering fascinating facts that help them understand the world.

Our Science Clubs not only inspire curiosity but also build problem-solving skills, teamwork, confidence, and creativity. Through guided activities and age-appropriate challenges, we help children see science as something they can do – and enjoy.

How We Bring Science to Life

• 60-Minute Sessions: Each session is designed to be engaging and productive, providing an hour of immersive learning and fun.
• Convenient Location: Sessions are delivered at your child’s school, making it easy and accessible for families.
• Hands-On Experiments: Each session begins with a practical investigation such as exploring chemical reactions, testing forces and motion, building simple circuits, discovering light and colour, or examining materials under magnification. Children make predictions, test ideas, record what they see, and experience real science unfolding in front of them.
• Explore, Test & Discover: Children learn that science is a journey of exploring questions and discovering answers. They observe outcomes closely, talk through what happened, and begin to explain why each experiment worked the way it did. This builds confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine curiosity about the world around them.
• Science in Teams: Some activities are completed in pairs or small groups, helping children develop communication, cooperation, and shared scientific reasoning. Working together encourages discussion, different viewpoints and collaborative problem-solving — essential skills both inside and outside the classroom.
• Experienced and Enthusiastic Staff: Each of our after school coding clubs is led by an experienced teacher and a trained assistant, ensuring a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
